Il mwbqTivano (mwbgTivàn in mwbwlombardo) è un mwcavento termico della zona del mwcqLago di Como e del mwcgLago di Lugano a carattere periodico. mwcwEtimologicamente deriva dal mwdafrancese mwdqpetit vent (letteralmente: mwdgpiccolo vento), anche se qualcuno lo riconduce alla parola celtica tuam (ossia: mwdwcaverna)cite-ref-1[1].

Questo vento, molto regolare nel suo manifestarsi quotidiano durante l'intero anno, soffia nelle prime ore del mattino. La sua velocità può raggiungere in media 20-25 km/h e si avverte alla massima intensità nella città di mwfqLecco. Tale vento proviene dalla vicina mwfgValtellina, anche se la tradizione popolare lo associa al mwfwPian del Tivano.

Di solito, quando è totalmente assente, indica l'avvicinarsi del brutto tempo.
